Strive for 5 — Pinnacles of Faith

Awareness:  of self, our world, the Creator God, His sovereignty and our need for his saving grace.

Beliefs:  honest evaluation of our inherited system of beliefs as they relate to faith, fear & doubts.  Beliefs are unhidden among the risks and rewards of the nature setting.

Community & Fellowship:   learning to be selfless and part of a team doesn't come naturally especially when facing physical challenges, relentless elements and rugged environments -  while together serving one another.

Discipline:  recognizing God's discipline through temptation and refinement while discovering new citizenship of being in this world, but not of this world.

Introspection & Reflection:  resolving to earnestly search one's heart to reveal sin, wrong attitudes and judgmental thinking in order to grow closer to God's image.

Man was created in the image of God to resemble God's spirit in all its likeness -- morally, mentally, and socially.  When Adam & Eve rebelled in the garden, they disrupted this design and because of their disobedience, they were no longer able to reflect God's radiance.  The image of their damaged spirit was then passed onto the rest of mankind through their sin, giving all born into this world a sinful nature.  Thankfully, through our faith and by God's great grace, we can engage in a restoration process on our way towards our journey's end, where we can be transformed back into the image of God that he intended for us to have with a "new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness."
